Today Innovation Cube has been presented at the Tokyo conference on “Auto Innovation Design – Japan and Italy towards a cleaner, smarter. It is a new exhibition format born out of the agreement between Promotor International Spa, organiser of the Bologna Motor Show, International Auto Show, and Conceptage, organiser of the H2Roma energy and mobility show.
The presentation of Innovation Cube at the Tokyo conference has also offered Promotor and Conceptage the opportunity to start relevant contacts with Japanese and international operators with the purpose to export the format.
Innovation Cube will have its official debut at the 2008 edition of the Bologna Motor Show and it will tackle the theme of technological innovation developing four main subjects – environment, safety, info-mobility and design, all key features of the car of the future.
Three big sections – exhibition, experience and in-depth analysis – will involve and guide the Bologna Motor Show visitors along pathways which aim at making everybody enjoy the innovations that will change the world of cars and at helping them discover the present’s most advanced technologies as well as the future’s possible ones.
At the conference, which is the first initiative of the “Autunno in Giappone 2009” event, Professor Fabio Orecchini, H2Roma scientific coordinator, said: “Today Tokyo sees the birth of “innovation design” applied to cars. Style and technology will work together to create a new idea of cars, starting from and getting concentrated on their being products capable of generating big emotions. Innovation Cube will exhibit all the innovations that are changing the traditional features of cars: from electronics to safety, through design and, of course, the environment.”
After that, Giada Michetti, Managing Director of Promotor International Spa, added: “Innovation Cube will embody emotion, passion and innovation; actually the project’s joint goal is to highlight the innovative features of the products exhibited by the automakers attending the Italian Motor Show, to spread their message and let the public know how far the excellence of car industry has been going so far. Thanks to this new dedicated format, the car industry and the whole innovation sector will have the opportunity to show today’s and tomorrow’s products highlighting their technological contents.” Finally Giada Michetti concluded her speech saying that “Innovation Cube, besides being a feature of the Bologna Motor Show 2008, will become an independent format that can operate in different international contexts.”
The conference has also enabled Promotor Intrnational and Conceptage to announce the cooperation between Italy and Japan to develop an innovation design based prototype which will be exhibited at the 2009 editions of the Tokyo and Bologna Motor Shows as well as at the 2009 H2Roma event.
