Hydrogen technology show for the BMW group

Fotogallery There had never been so many hydrogen cars in the streets of Munich. The BMW group has given the media and the public the opportunity to see the achievements of clean technology with a column of 28 Hydrogen 7 cars. The convoy filed down the streets passing through Munich’s most famous sights, from Konigsplatz to LudwigstraBe and Siegestor, going past the Maximilianeum, through the old historical centre and the Theresienwiese.
Also this year the BMW group, which has been developing hydrogen solutions for two decades, will, once again, deliver the BMW Hydrogen 7 to showbiz VIPs as well as to political and economical celebrities. A limited series of a hundred cars had been previously produced and most of them are still in Munich today.
The circle of privileged drivers, who were given the BMW Hydrogen 7, includes actor Will Ferrell, TV host Jay Leno, opera star Placido Domingo and film director Stephen Gaghan. The BMW Hydrogen 7 was also chosen by celebrities such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for the Hollywood premiere of “Ocean’s 13”. Also Richard Gere, Sharon Stone and Hillary Swank rode on this environmentally friendly car at the Berlin “Cinema for Peace” festival.
