Hydrogen Honda Clarity for sale leased

In Santa Monica, California, the first Honda fuel cell vehicle reseller

A hydrogen car is out of reach for most of us, but American Honda Motor has delivered its first leased hydrogen fuel cell-powered FCX Clarity. Three are the southern California dealers that are part of its first fuel cell vehicle distribution network. A dealer in Santa Monica has already supplied the first two fuel cell Clarity. Ron Yerxa and Annette Ballester are the first owners in the world of a FCX Clarity, and the first among the 200 people who might get it leased in the US (most in southern California), and in Japan within the next three years.

Honda said they are the world's first FCX Clarity customers and the first of approximately 200 people who will lease the vehicle in the United States and Japan over the next three years, with the vast majority in southern California. John Mendel, executive vice president of American Honda, emphasized how leasing a FCX Clarity is “One more step toward meeting climate stability, renewable energy supplies and zero-emissions transportation"."With this key step, we are advancing toward the goal of broader commercialisation and we are establishing a dedicated sales network and service infrastructure to provides customers with the best convenience and satisfaction".

The Clarity improves over Honda's previous generation FCX with a 25% increase in fuel economy rising to 115 km/kg-H2 and offers a driving range up to 450 km, a result greater than 30% compared to the previous model.
The car is equipped with the most advanced fuel cell technology that fuels the electric motor emitting only water vapour, and fuel efficiency is three times that of a standard petrol-powered car.
